Collection of four films starring the popular 1930s and 1940s musical actress. 'I'll Be Yours' (1947) is a romantic musical starring Deanna Durbin as Louise Ginglebusher, a small town girl who comes to New York City hoping to make it in showbusiness. She gets a job as an usherette in a movie palace run by J Conrad Nelson (Adolphe Menjou), who takes a fancy to Louise - but she is more interested in young lawyer George Prescott (Tom Drake). In 'Lady On a Train' (1945) Durbin plays Nikki Collins, a woman who witnesses a murder from a train and reports it to the police. The police do not believe her, however, so she decides to launch her own investigation with the help of mystery writer Wayne Morgan (David Bruce). In 'Something in the Wind' (1947) radio personality Mary Collins (Durbin) is dating Donald Read (John Dall), a man with a quick temper. His brother Charlie (Donald O'Connor) also carries a torch for Mary. When Donald suspects his girlfriend is two-timing him with his own grandfather, he kidnaps Mary; will Charlie come to her rescue? In 'That Certain Age' (1938) Alice Fullerton (Durbin) falls in love with a news reporter, Vincent (Melvyn Douglas), who has just returned from the Spanish Civil War. Vincent works for Alice's father, Gilbert (John Halliday), a newspaper magnate who attempts to dissuade his daughter from becoming involved with the young journalist. Will she pay heed to her father or follow her heart?
