Journalists and authors have never been allowed access to these letters until the postal services let Norwegian author Birger Sivertsen explore this treasure chest of letters from every corner of the globe. Ater reading thousands of those letters, he has compiled this collection featuring correspondence from both children and adults, ranging from funny to sad, sweet to rude, greedy to joyful and hopeful.
