Description

This third volume of the series chronicling the history of tank warfare in World War Two features Rommel's second offensive in North Africa, and the events leading up to Germany's first major defeat at the battle of Stalingrad. The British forces commanded by General Montgomery in Africa used the Matilda II tank to drive the Germans into Tunisia, while in Stalingrad the Soviet deployment of over 500 T-34s resulted in the total destruction of the XLVIII Panzer Korps.
