Box set containing two documentaries on the godfathers of metal. 'Deep Purple Reflections' features candid reflections then and now from Nick Simper, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Ian Gillan, David Coverdale, Glen Hughes and one of the very last interviews with the late Tommy Bolin. The film also draws on extensive rare footage of Deep Purple in performance from 1968 to 1974. 'Masters From The Vaults' features rare footage of Deep Purple performing in front of cameras in Europe. Included here are the songs that propelled the band to the big time, alongside the earliest known recordings of the classic Mark II line-up of Blackmore, Lord, Paice, Gillan and Glover.
