She is an economist who specializes in the creation of competitive advantage through inclusion and diversity. Holding a PhD from American University, Sherbin has taught at Columbia University. She has coauthored multiple Center for Talent Innovation reports and Harvard Business Review Research Reports, including The Athena Factor: Reversing the Brain Drain in Science, Engineering, and Technology.
