DIY SOS - Lowri Turner

This is the book of the hugely successful BBC TV series DIY SOS, which has gained a regular audience of 8 million viewers. Fronted by Lowri Turner and Nick Knowles, the book comes to the rescue of families across the UK who are suffering from DIY disasters.

The book is based on the TV series, which works on a simple formula:

Three families plead their case for a DIY makeover to their home; the audience decides which home will get the star treatment. In steps the 'expert' in the form of Nick Knowles to transform the chosen place, together with his colour-co-ordinated 'team' - Bob the Builder, Brigid the Designer, Ian the Plasterer, and Billy the Electrician.

The book will focus on the specific case studies featured in the programme, but would also include DIY hints and tips on basic household maintenance, and additional projects for every room in the house.
