Remember Donkey Kong: King of Swing on the GameBoy Advance? Nope? You're probably not alone. It managed to slip quietly under a lot of gamers' radar. Which is why, although it's essentially a sequel to that nifty little 2005 title, Jungle Climber doesn't bear the moniker King of Swing 2. Rest assured, however, that Jungle Climber takes the best elements of King of Swing and builds on them. In a nutshell, King K. Rool is back and causing nastiness. As ever, it's up to Donkey Kong to swing into action and sort things out. The game mechanic of King of Swing remains essentially unchanged. Players have to manoeuvre the simian swinger using just the trigger buttons to make him grab hold of the peg boards and climb, jumping over gaps as they come. Diddy Kong makes a return, and a fresh batch of minigames follow in his wake. If that's not enough to keep you interested, you might want to try out the game's multiplayer options, with up to four players able to compete wirelessly.
Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Funky Kong are all up for grabs. Let the muck-flinging begin!
