Documentary written and directed by Kim Longinotto which focuses on a former prostitute who now helps youngsters escape the profession. Brenda Myers-Powell worked in the business for 25 years before changing her ways and deciding to act as a beacon of hope for young women who want to live more positive lives. Brenda is followed around Chicago as she councils convicted prostitutes in jail and visits local schools to mentor groups of girls she believes are vulnerable to the same experiences. As well as helping youngsters as part of her 'Girl Talk' programme in schools, Brenda also tours the city at night to seek out those that may be in need of her help.
