Double-bill of American comedian Eddie Murphy's films. John Landis directs Murphy, alongside Dan Ackroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis, in the satirical 'Trading Places' (1983). The owners of a financial company place a wager to see how two men will react when their places in life are dramatically swapped. Stuffy employee Louis Winthorpe (Dan Ackroyd) finds his life in ruins, while street criminal Billy (Eddie Murphy) is suddenly at the top of the business world. Landis again directs in 'Coming to America' (1988), where Murphy experiences cross-cultural mayhem as an African prince travelling to the United States to find a suitable bride.
