THE GCSE KITS series covers the core elements of the new GCSE English and English Literature specifications, for the main examination boards. Each of the three books has a variety of photocopiable resources, schemes of work, teacher's guidance and a table showing examination board requirements.



Echoing the successful style of THE KEY STAGE 3 ENGLISH KITS, THE GCSE KITS can be used to supplement many schemes of work at GCSE level, and to adapt existing courses to the new specifications. As the title suggests, each unit is complete in itself, but can be developed further with two additional units, the English and English Literature 'Toolkit' resources.



GCSE KIT: ENGLISH offers a wealth of resources to help teachers deliver the coursework and examination requirements of the new GCSE English specifications. It is made up of eleven units based on the reading range requirements of the National Curriculum and GCSE, plus a unit of 'Toolkit' resources. By using the reading range as a basis for speaking and listening, and writing for different purposes, all the required skills are covered in an integrated way.
