On the mother of all Mondays, Aoife finds herself broke and homeless when both her boss and her landlord tell her it's time she moved on.

After the obligatory night in Dublin's watering holes drowning her sorrows with best friend Rory, he makes her a proposition she can't resist. If she can engineer her very own encounter with Bono, followed by a suitably impressive Bono Story, he will give her ?5,000. Aoife accepts the challenge with relish - but after dressing up as a nun, staking out Dublin Airport and getting drugged by rival fans, she's still no nearer her goal.
