Description

All 20 episodes of the BBC reality series presented by Ben Fogle, in which four groups of people face some of the world's most extreme environments. The would-be explorers hike to the lost Inca city of Choquequirao in Peru, trek through the thickest rainforest during rainy season to the Kaieteur Falls in Guyana, climb to the peak of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and strike out across the Arctic to ascend Temple Mountain, one of the highest peaks in the region. Altitude sickness, hypothermia, heat stroke, unusual cuisine, deadly creatures and sheer exhaustion are just some of the challenges faced by the teams as they struggle to conquer some of the world's most inhospitable environments.
