Description

Full coverage of the showpiece of English football, the FA Cup, between Chelsea and Middlesbrough. Both teams were packed with overseas players, all of whom were looking to set the game alight. Roberto Di Matteo, Chelsea's Italian midfield dynamo, opened the scoring after just 43 seconds with a beautiful strike, while Middlesbrough's Fabrizio Ravenelli limped off injured in the first half. The final score was 2-0 to Chelsea, leaving Middlesbrough to lick their wounds at the end of a season that saw them lose two cup finals and get relegated from the Premiership.
