Description

The complete series of the 1970s TV drama following the fortunes of an amateur footballer who is suddenly plunged into the big league. Terry Prince (Jonathan Barlow) enjoys a fairly ordinary life, working as a mechanic during the week and taking to the field for his local team at the weekends. That is, until First Division manager Harry Turnbull (Lee Montague) sees him play and believes he has discovered a hidden gem. Terry and his wife Viv (Jacquie Cassidy) are duly catapulted into the glamorous world of professional football, though, as they'll discover, celebrity and fame have plenty of pitfalls, too...
