Documentary that follows a special journey made by the Through West Mail, arguably the most famous Australian night train, in the company of the Flying Scotsman steam engine. The Through West Mail was hauled across Western Australia by steam engines until the era of steam ended in 1967. However, a one-off celebratory journey was arranged in 1989, in which the West Mail was pulled by the famous Flying Scotsman engine.
