G A Henty was a 19th century novelist, special correspondent and Imperalist. His best-known works are historical adventures. Henty is credited with writing over 80 books for young boys. This story begins in a field near Oxford, England in 1642. Three your people sit around the fire. There are two fifteen year old boys and a ten year old girl. Civil war has broken out.
