Description

First volume of the Japanese anime series, set during a galactic civil war between Earth and one of its Martian colonies, with both sides armed with the giant Gundam robots. In this volume, the Heliopolis research facility, producing Gundams for the Earth Alliance, is attacked and four of its robots are stolen. During the ensuing battle between the Earth forces and the colonists, childhood friends Kira and Athrun find themselves on opposite sides, and in the midst of the action one of them must make a decision as to which side they are really on.
