New York film-maker Todd Phillips directs this hard-hitting documentary focusing on G.G. Allin, the controversial punk artist who toured with his band the Murder Junkies for fourteen years between prison sentences. Allin's violent and angry tirades culminated in his final New York performance, which resulted in several injuries and the near-expulsion of Phillips from New York University. Allin died from a heroin overdose soon after this film was completed, and was thus unable to fulfil his promise to commit suicide live on stage.
