Players such as Heifetz, Kreisler, Francescatti, Grumiaux and, of course, the great Yehudi Menuhin are all idols of mine, and that's why I chose the title Iconic' - David Garrett. Inspired by the legendary violinists whose dazzling showpieces and heart-melting melodies Garrett fell in love with as a child, 'Iconic' includes more than twenty tracks including brilliant showpieces, soulful melodies, and duets with Andrea Bocelli, Itzhak Perlman, Till Bronner and Cocomi. Music by Bach, Dvor�k, Gluck, Kreisler, Mendelssohn and Schumann, among many others, is presented in arrangements for violin, guitar and orchestra.
