Second volume in a three-part documentary series. Archive newsreel and Philip Elsmore's narration combine to offer an insight into the various roles played by the German destroyer during WWII. The mighty ships were designed to protect naval forces against submarine and torpedo attacks, but also to transport troops and refugees to every corner of the globe.
