Archie Brown is professor of politics at the University of Oxford and director of the Russian and East European Centre of St. Antony's College. Lilia Shevtsova chairs the Russian Domestic Politics and Political Institutions Program at the Carnegie Moscow Center, dividing her time between the Carnegie office in Washington, D.C. and the Carnegie Moscow Center. She is also an associate fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). She is author of
