Description

Kinji Fukasaku directs Tetsuya Watari in this tale of a sociopathic loser named Ishikawa, whose self-destructive tendencies cause him to betray every chance he is given in life. After he attacks a prostitute owned by a rival gang, Ishikawa is reprimanded by his own boss and responds by stabbing him to within an inch of his life. Luckily being spared a gangland execution, Ishikawa is then ordered into an Osaka exile for the next ten years, where he quickly descends into drug use and whoring. Throughout all this, Ishikawa's sometime girlfriend Cheiko (Yumi Takigawa) remains the one person who truly cares for him.
