Description

Guy Martin presents this three-part Channel 4 documentary in which he travels around China to learn more about its industrial development and technological advancement. On his cross-country journey, Guy builds an electric motorbike in a factory in Chongqing, explores the Yangtze River and visits the cities of Shanghai and Beijing, where he tries his hand at rickshaw racing and learns about the lifestyle of the country's new super-rich. He ends his trip by challenging himself to break the record for the fastest crossing of the Taklamakan Desert on a bike. The episodes are: 'Yangtze River', 'Beijing' and 'The Taklamakan Desert'.
