Description

The complete first series of the comedy sketch show in which Gareth Hale and Norman Pace play a number of eccentric characters. Among the characters to recur in Series One are bodyguards the two Rons, the detectives, Stubble and Crockery, and enthusiastic gardeners Wheelbarrow and Bibbler. Ainsley Harriott and Annette Badland provide a different dynamic in regular guest appearances. The 1986 Christmas special, which helped earn Hale and Pace a series of their own, is also included and features appearances by Status Quo, Harry Enfield and the saxophonist, Courtney Pine.
