The Rev Dr Russ Parker is the director of Acorn Christian Healing Foundation, and has been since 1995. He has a post graduate degree in Dreams and Psychotherapy from Nottingham University and an Honourary Doctorate from Columbia Evangelical Seminary in the U.S.This is the author's second published work on healing, following Forgiveness is Healing (Sept. 2011).Healing Wounded History, as the cover suggests, is about reconciling peoples and healing places. The focus is on community healing rather than healing the individual. Practical ways of praying strategically are explained, as well as the ways in which we might respond to different situations where we find brokenness.This book is groundbreaking in its ideas, consistent in its theology, and gentle in its approach. Worth reading.
