'Here Comes the Indian' is the debut (later retroactively classified as the fourth) studio album by experimental pop band, originally released in June 2003. It is the first release by the group on which all four members perform together: Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Geologist (Brian Weitz), and Deakin (Josh Dibb). In 2020, the band renamed the album to 'Ark' because they felt the title objectified American Indians.
