Description

Two part documentary on rock and roll pioneer Buddy Holly. 'Buddy Holly - The Final Day' tells the story of the death of Buddy Holly in a plane crash in 1959, with contributions from the members of his band, Tommy Allsup, Waylon Jennings and Carl Bunch. 'Tommy Allsup in Concert' (2008) sees Holly's band member Allsup unite with Texan singer Johnny Rogers to play a number of Holly classics at a special event in Liverpool, 50 years after Buddy and Tommy played a gig in the city.
