Documentary examining the life of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and the opposition he has faced from forces as diverse as the religious right and the feminist movement. Hefner mortgaged furniture to raise the money to found Playboy magazine in 1953, an investment which paid off spectacularly with the success of the publication. Along the way, however, Hefner and his magazine have raised the ire of a number of groups in society. This documentary, featuring contributions from figures including Gene Simmons, Jesse Jackson and George Lucas, takes a look at Hefner's life and the political and ideological battles he has fought over the years.
