Description

Double-bill of the landmark films from Swedish director Vilgot Sjoman, following one woman's exploration of Swedish national identity and her own sexuality in the 1960s, both of which caused considerable controversy for their politics and their high sexual content. In 'I Am Curious Yellow' (1967), Lena (Lena Nyman) turns twenty and decides to learn all she can about life and reality. She compiles an enormous archive on politics and philosophy, while at the same time exploring different forms of personal and sexual relationships. In the sequel, 'I Am Curious Blue' (1968), Lena considers further political and sexual issues.
