Imagine Yesterday ...Today is the third in the series of titles published in association with the successful Garden Photographers' Association annual exhibition. The 2006 theme focuses on 'Heritage' and the accompanying exhibition forms an integral part of the Summer Festival held at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This beautifully produced book features around 100 stunningly reproduced photographs based on four themes: Nature's Garden, Nurtured Gardens, The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and World Heritage Sites. Each of the images explores the wealth of our environment and its diverse plant life from intimate details to wider views, with emotive imagery capturing the significant role our landscapes and gardens play in our cultural identity today.
