Innocent - Audrey Delaney

Audrey was just six years old when her father began sexually abusing her. At first she believed his behaviour to be a normal expression of love. But by the time she reached her teens her father's predations had worn away all childhood innocence and she turned to drink and drugs for solace. She even attempted suicide to escape her father's attentions. But, ultimately, Audrey's story is one of hope and triumph. After reporting her father to the authorities she embarked on a long quest for justice and was joined by six other women who suffered at the hands of her father.
