Insights into speciality inorganic chemicals - David Thompson

Exploring a wide range of topics in inorganic chemistry, catalysis and materials science, this study demonstrates how good basic research, carried out by academia or industry, leads to important applications and innovations relevant to community needs. The topics discussed include refining, pharmaceuticals and catalysis for chemical processing. There are four chapters on materials with special electrical and magnetic properties, and further discussion of inorganic colours, ceramics, glasses and hard metals, and advanced cementitious materials.
