It's surprising that there aren't more console titles released around the sport, since it originated here, let alone a cricket management simulator.

Cricket Captain 2000 is among one of the first games to be released of its kind, and the only cricket title to be released with the backing of Nasser Hussain. This particular simulator consists of statistics from the 2000 Wisden season.

As a simulator, figures and facts are of vital importance; an essential attribute that was well recognised by developers, Empire.

Empire has managed to include a huge number of cricket league players, complete with their official names and statistics.

Once you begin to tackle a season, you will soon realise just how complex Cricket Captain 2000 really is.
