Collection of three films celebrating the life and music of blues rocker Rory Gallagher. In 'Irish Tour 1974', Rory is shown at the peak of his popularity, performing live on his 1974 tour of Ireland. 'Ghost Blues' is a documentary telling Gallagher's life story from his upbringing in Cork and his early days with a showband to the brief success of Taste and on to his successful solo career, his escalating health problems in later life and his tragic death at the age of just 47. The film includes archive interviews with Gallagher and those who knew him, including his brother Donal, Bob Geldof, The Edge, Cameron Crowe, Slash, Johnny Marr, Bill Wyman, Martin Carthy and band members Ted McKenna and Gerry McAvoy. Finally, in 'Live in Cork', which was recorded during his homecoming tour in 1987 and filmed at Cork's Opera House, Rory plays a selection of songs from throughout his musical career including 'Ain't No Saint', 'Off the Handle' and 'The Loop'.
