Isaac the pirate - Christophe Blain

Isaac is a talented yet impoverished eighteenth century artist desperately in love. He runs into a rich Captain who is taken by his abilities and offers him a handsome sum to come along on his voyages. However, it turns out he is no Captain - but a rogue Pirate, so that Isaac's plan to make some quick money and return to marry his love, is taken over by a series of hilarious and dark adventures at sea with no foreseeable end. At home his girlfriend is getting attention from another ... As in The Speed Abater, this latest offering shows top prize-winner Blain to be a master.
