I was Hitler's pilot - Hans Baur

A decorated First World War pilot, Hans Baur was one of the leading commercial aviators of the 1920s. In 1932 he was engaged by a certain Herr Hitler to fly him on a lightening election tour
and with that, Flight Captain Baur, a man with little interest in politics, was pitched into the thick of it. He was subsequently appointed Captain of Hitlers Flight personally flying the Fhrer and his VIP visitors around the world. - - Hitler, who loathed flying, felt safe with Baur and would allow no one else to pilot him. As a result, an intimate relationship developed between the two men and it is this which gives these memoirs special significance.
