Documentary which follows the British singer-songwriter as she heads to Poland to meet Kazik Piechowski, the man whose escape from Auschwitz in 1942 inspired her song 'Kazik and the Commander's Car'. In June 1942 Kazik and three fellow political prisoners disguised themselves as SS officers and drove out of Auschwitz in the car belonging to the commander of the camp, Rudolf Hss. Katy Carr performs the song she has written to commemorate the escape to Kazik, now 90, and the two discuss his memories of the event and its portrayal in the song. Also included is the music video of the song.
