Tomasz Wasilewski writes and directs this Polish drama starring Julia Kijowska, Magdalena Cielecka and Dorota Kolak. Set in the early 1990s, after the decline of communism in Poland, the film follows four women who are trying to adapt to the changing times and their new-found freedom. The intertwined foursome include Agata (Kijowska), who becomes obsessed with a local priest, schoolteacher Iza (Cielecka), who is having an affair with a doctor, and her fellow teacher Renata (Kolak) who yearns for a closer relationship with her neighbour Marzena (Marta Nieradkiewicz).
