Description

It's pretty fair to say that Kinect Rush: A Disney.Pixar Adventure is a dream come true for fans of Pixar's brand of cartoon fun. Following in the footsteps of Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, the game gives players a chance to jump (literally!) right into their favourite films, using the Microsoft's Kinect peripheral to interact with the virtual worlds around them.

Firing the game up, you'll be prompted to complete the simple task of scanning yourself into the game using Kinect. From there, you'll head to Pixar Park, the game's hub, and five of Pixar's most beloved worlds become your oysters. Cars, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Up, and Toy Story are all included.

Each world offers up three episodes with an action/adventure flavour. You'll need to complete mini-games, such as chasing Carl's airborne house down a river in Up!, helping Buzz Lightyear ferret out Mr Pricklepants in Toy Story and racing with Lightning McQueen in Cars. It's not all mini-games, though. There are also platforming sections to complete. You'll pump your arms to run, lean over to change direction and even complete actions such as jumping, swinging on vines and sliding down ziplines - all by mimicing the actions in real life!

It's all built around co-operation, too, so more than one player can get involved at once! Don't worry if you find yourself playing alone, though - your favourite characters will still be on-hand to help, even when there's no-one in the room with you.
