Description

Documentary that follows the events surrounding the retirement of NASA's Space Shuttle program. From 1981 to 2011 the Shuttle program was used to send astronauts to space. However, the Space Shuttle Atlantis embarked on the last mission of the program in July 2011. The documentary includes interviews with engineers involved in maintaining the shuttles and looks back at the success of the program and forward towards what the future may hold for NASA and space exploration.
