Description

Collection of early classic Laurel and Hardy short films. In 'The Sleuth', Stan utilises a variety of disguises, including a house maid's uniform, topping it off with a femme fatale get-up and finally 'gets his man!' In 'West of Hot Dog', sole heir to a fortune Stan finds there's an alternative heir waiting, who's not above giving him a 'push' from time to time. 'Kid Speed' sees Hardy and Semon vie for the same girl by entering the big auto race. 'Mud & Sand' is a satire on the valentino classic 'Blood and Sand'. In 'Kill or Cure', Stan's selling a combination of furniture polish, auto cleaner and health tonic. Finally in 'Tree In a Test Tube', Stan and Ollie promote the use of wood products in everyday society in this short information film.
