It's kind of a miracle that LEGO Party! didn't exist before now. We've had LEGO Star Wars, LEGO super heroes, a LEGO kart racer, a LEGO beat-'em-up, even a LEGO Rock Band spin-off (remember Rock Band?). Frankly, given the amount of personality LEGO manages to squeeze out of its blocks, a Mario Party style mix of minigames is a no-brainer. LEGO Party! combines LEGO classics like LEGO Space, LEGO Pirates and LEGO NINJAGO into a board crawler, having you compete over multiple themed game boards as you vie for gold bricks and studs. Minigames run the gamut from an obstacle course sprint that has the feel of Fall Guys about it to a Rocket League inspired zero-gravity footy game to a nightclub-themed battle that has you trying to fling minifigs onto a floating dancefloor with the help of elastic grapping hooks. It's a really fun, eclectic batch of mini-games that does the variety and creativity of the LEGO world proud. Helping out with the fun multiplayer vibes is the fact that you can play against pals far and wide, regardless of what platform they're playing on. For all the Mario comparisons you might make, it turns out that there really ain't no party quite like a LEGO Party!
