[from an Amazon review] Ros Warren writes: Before taking early retirement in 2006 to focus on my writing, I was a lecturer and researcher in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham (as Dr Sheila Glasbey). My research included the processing of metaphor for computers, which combined my interests in linguistics, psychology, computer science and artificial intelligence. I have a deep concern for the social implications of AI, which led me to write 'Lena's Nest'.
