While out in the forest, garden-talent fairy Lily discovers an unusual seed. Out of curiosity, she decides to plant it in her garden to see what kind of plant it will become. To the other fairies' dismay, the seed grows into a huge, hideous, stinky, wasp-attracting, allergy-inducing monstrosity!

Soon the fairies of Pixie Hollow begin to quarrel over whether or not the plant should be cut down. Despite its unpleasant characteristics, however, Lily can't bring herself to get rid of the strange plant - something in her tells her there is good in the plan and, in the end, she's proven right.
