Description

Live performance from the musician Richard Thompson and his band recorded at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow during the 2011 Celtic Connections Festival. Over the course of a career spanning more than 40 years, Thompson has won acclaim for both his songwriting and his unique brand of guitar playing. Among the fellow musicians to have covered Thompson's songs are Robert Plant, David Gilmour and Elvis Costello. Though this performance draws heavily on his most recent album, 2010's 'Dream Attic', a number of songs are included that date as far back as his first solo album, 'Henry the Human Fly'.
