Collection of three films celebrating the career of The Doobie Brothers. In 'Live at the Greek Theatre 1982', The Doobie Brothers are recorded playing the last show on their 'Farewell Tour' and, what would be, their last gig for five years. 'Let the Music Play - The Story of The Doobie Brothers' tells the story of the band, detailing all the ups and downs of their career in the music industry. Formed in California in 1970, it wasn't until their 1972 hit single, 'Listen to the Music', that the band broke through to the mainstream. Their success continued, even with line-up changes, throughout the '70s, but the group split in 1982, citing exhaustion and personal issues, before reforming in the 1990s. The film features contributions from the surviving members of the band, their manager and producer, who reflect on a musical journey that has spanned four decades. Finally, in 'The Wolf Trap', the band play 23 songs live in concert at the Wolf Trap venue in Virginia, including 'Jesus is Just Alright', 'Takin' it to the Streets', 'Black Water', 'China Grove', 'Long Train Runnin' and 'Listen to the Music'.
