This joint publication between the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the West London Health Promotion Agency is intended as a survival kit for carers of people with depression. It encourages a positive attitude towards the illness and gives an idea of what the carer can expect and how they can cope.

A personal account of living with someone with depression. Gives advice to carers on how to cope mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Contains a section on where to go for help and a list of helpful organisations.
