Kutlug Ataman's independent film centres on racism and homophobia in Berlin. Seventeen-year-old Murat (Baki Davrak), a Turk living in Berlin, is trying to find a way to let his family know that he is gay. He wants to tell them but is worried that they will reject him. The problem worsens after he meets Lola (Gandi Mukli) and begins to explore the gay scene, this new-found freedom bringing him into further conflict with the tradition-bound ways of his family.
