Decadent Few formed in east London in 1984, from the ashes of anarcho punx; Youth In Asia. Playing a more direct punk style than YIA, their lyrics concentrated on personal experience rather than the general politico-themes of the day, with an emphasis on feminism and gender violence. 'Lowlife' combines seven tracks, recorded in 1988 from an unreleased mini-album, plus four tracks from a long-deleted compilation in 1994.
