The Battle For Naboo is an all out action game set in the Star Wars universe. If you have seen the film The Phantom Menace, you will not want to miss this title. In this game you get the chance to hop into an assortment of land and space-based vehicles and take on the evil Trade Federation. They must be stopped at all costs. Are you prepared to risk your virtual life? The droid armies are coming and you are the last line of defence for the peaceful planet of Naboo. In The Battle for Naboo you have a selection of several ships to take command of. Certain ships' availabilty depends on the mission, but in some levels you can swap crafts mid-mission. Swapping vehicles can also change your mission tasks: for example, if you take to the skies, you might be expected to provide ground cover. The Naboo Starfighter is a joy to pilot, being highly manoeuvrable and packing a great punch. In some missions you even pilot a Trade Federation Gunship. It's slow, capable of great destruction. Battle for Naboo is an easy game to learn because the controls are simple. It will take no time at all to dive into the shooting frenzy. Because the game is so simple, don't expect more than what a typical mission-based shoot-em-up offers. If you like straightforward blasting then this game is for you.
